Thing #19

I was about to give up on the whole challenge. However, I stumbled through the last few, this one was much easier. It did not take me that long to look over all of the 2.0 winners.
I will definitely recommend this site to someone I know. I thought Pandora lookd like an interesting site, I like music. I would have to check it out and find out more details. Are all the serviced listed on the 2.0 winners free? Since I do like cocktails, I most definitely will visit cocktail builder. I did not care for the site imbee, I don't know if that is such a great site for under 18 for meeting over the internet like this.

Thing #16

I definately noticed the OCL website was updated!!

Thing #17

Well one day I played in the sandbox, that was easy. Today I tried to make a link to my blog.
I do not think it worked. I will try with help tomorrow.

THING #18

I thought sharing a document was great. Maybe I could use it when I do the monthly Brochure.
This way I don't have to E-mail back and forth for corrections!

Thing #15

Library 2.0, yes the future is coming upon us quick. We provide excellent service to customers! I feel the biggest thing is computer service, what we have to offer.....anyone can find just about anything they are looking for. However, particular generations are not very computer "savvy", this does present a problem to them, yet that is what we have Librarians for; assisting in searching.
This particular generation also looks for the latest and greatest in reading materials. Yet other generations are using Net Library, E-books, etc. Which you need to start out at the library, but can continue using at home on your own PC.

Thing #14

Well, I did follow the directions for this exercise. Perhaps if I had a lot of time on my hands I would consider signing up to Technorati, maybe adding my blog. I don't believe I will continue Blogging after the contest.

Thing #13

I have a Del.icio.us account, I will admit I do not visit the site much. It reminds me of the bloglines account somewhat. I agree it is an excellent tool for those who visit the Internet often.
It will save time in searching.

Thing #12 (Part B)

WORLDCAT, never visited that site before. I think it is great!!! I would like to order some of the movies that OCL does not have.
Yes, I definitely think this will help when a customer is filling out a Request to Purchase form.
Normally I would gather more info. from Amazon.com, but now I have another site to explore.

Thing #12

I opened a NetLibrary account. I think it is great!!! I definately will show patron's how to use it,
I already have shown people where to go to open there own account, and yes they did have to come in to the library to start one.

Thing #11

This is the third time I have done a post for thing #11. I had problem with the link to library things. Yes, it is a great website. I like that I only have to click on the picture of the book to
keep a history. I only just started a notebook with all the titles I have read, so this will work out great!http://www.librarything.com/catalog/kimmiekamper

Thing #10

I really like the Bloglines account I opened, one click and I am able to get updated info.
Another thing I love on the computer....XMradio.com, I enjoy being able to listen to music
I like whenever I am logged on to the internet.

Thing #9

That was easy!! I must say, now that I see you may search by subject for an RSS feed, I was able to find 4 more feeds to add to my already 10. This took me only 35 minutes!!!!

Thing #8

Well, I have to say....it took me quite a long time to find any RSS feeds that I had an interest in, and were available as an RSS feed. I might like this, it saves time on going to the particular web site. I think this would be great for the Library Website, especially when using Cybraryn. Most people that come in to use the internet, are not here to use the Library website.
